When I turned 17 years old in 1983, I made a promise to myself that I would see INXS, U2 & Simple Minds every chance I had. Well, let me tell you, I have saved all of my concert stubs over the years and can say that I have seen INXS with Michael seven (7) times. Yes, of course I also saw U2 & Simple Minds! I have seeen INXS with J.D. who is, I must say a very good singer and does sound quite a bit like Michael, however, getting to the point, Michael had such a fantastic stage. Not just was he sexy in his own way, he moved exactly with the music. Every word had its own sway or a just fitting facial expression. I purchased the VHS tape of the band from the early 90's, check it out, great video!
Upon hearing trhe news of Michael's death, I was beyond saddened. I couldn't think of it without tearing. I can't imagine how the bandmates and family all felt. What a huge loss to the misuc world. Still, INXS is after all these years, my ultimate, rock on!
