I mourn your loss each year on this day, but this 10 year anniversary is leaving me feeling especially numb. My mind cannot fathom that it has been 10 years since you left this earth. I have been the most radical fan for 20 years now, and you have been gone for half that time. It's so hard for me to grasp. I remember the deep despair I felt when I first realized there would be no new music, no new live performances, etc. On this 10 year anniversary, I'm really feeling the effects of this. Sure I saw INXS with JD - it just left me feeling empty.
Michael, I hope you know how much you are loved and missed. I will always wonder what could have been, but at least I have my memories.
