This is the first time I've ever left an entry in a guestbook. Ten years on watching & listening to INXS, the tears still flow, and, I still don't understand, especially when you listen to 'New Sensation', watching footage of the band playing Wembley Stadium to around 70, 000 fans....NO other Oz band has been able to achieve that. INXS was my life from the age of 10, in the days when you had to wait for 'Sounds', 'Countdown' 'Rock Arena' or the many plethora of music shows we had in the eighties, waiting for magazines to come out, hassling my WEA rep (back in the day) on anything that was going on with the band. Being really pissed at the age of 14 sitting under a table singing INXS songs and screaming & crying how much I loved them. Screaming the words to every single song at every gig. I'm sorry, but there is absolutely NOBODY who can/could take Michael's place. Working on the Mushroom 25t6h gig & seeing them live for the first time, I actually had to turn my back as I couldn't conceal the tears on seeing no Michael, nor his voice. I couldn't or maybe didn't want to go to funeral, so I watched it on tv, and howled all the way thru it, the worst was seeing the rest of the band carrying their band mate out in the casket which made it so real, and I could only imagine the pain that family, friends & crew could feel. I can now feel better about watching INXS's video's and Michael's performing, as someone who suffers from depression & anxiety myself listening to Michael's lyrics could bring me right up, or right down-I'd like to think of 'New Sensation'to keep myself up, and that tomorrow is a brand new day. I still don't believe it is suicide....I think of you today Michael, and I wish there was someone there with you when you couldn't cope. To Kel & INXS,and little miss Tiger Lilly (which is the person I am really afraid for as she gets older), I send you my positive energies to get you thru this day...I know I'm rambling, there still can be so much to be said, only that INXS bought me sooooo much happiness & joy, I hope you can feel that too again one day, thankyou for listening to me. Many respects
