Dear Kell, family, and friends,
Thanks for creating a website in loving memory of Michael. I still miss him, as I know his family and friends miss him. I never met Michael, but I was a big INXS fan for many years and I did attend three fabulous INXS concerts in Santa Barbara in the 1980's. (I am proud to say I recognized INXS' talent long before they hit it big in the U.S.) I particularly enjoyed Michael's lively stage presence. His energy, his wit, and his music were special and those memories will live with me forever. He was someone I would have liked to have called “my friend”. I still kick myself that I didn't attend INXS' last concert in Santa Barbara to promote “Elegantly Wasted”, but I wasn't “a shy groupie” anymore and I had a lot of things going on in my personal life then. It was my choice and I have to live with that decision. I couldn't believe it when I heard the news and I kept thinking I wish someone had been there when he needed a friend. I know you have probably had those thoughts too, but what can you do except to rationalize and go on. I know Michael would have wanted all of us to be happy. I hope he has found peace out there in THE GREAT BEYOND. “LOVE AND PEACE” to you all.
Best wishes,
K.
