I have never, ever forgotten Michael and never will. On this anniversary date, I remember even more and am overwhelmed by a feeling of loss and sadness more so than usual. The passage of nine years already hardly seems possible and the passage of that time has done nothing to diminish the sadness of his death. I remember as if it were yesterday that day when I found out he left us. I thank God for what was, and can't cease to wonder what might have been. Truly the old adage applies to Michael that the world is infinitely poorer for losing him yet infinitely richer for him having been here. He will forver sit at the number one spot of God's Top Ten.
