Please note:
Faced with the challenge of inappropriate messages being posted in the past, we have resorted to pre-approving all guestbook entries before they appear in Michael's Guestbook. We also ask you to enter your email address. It won't be displayed on the site but will help us to keep the guestbook organised as well as allowing us to reply to as many as possible with a word of gratitude. Thanks for understanding.

On the eve of the anniversary of Michael Hutchence's death, I am listening to “Not enough time”if only we all knew how prophetic Michael's lyrics would be.I never met him, never had the opportunity to see him in concert even. But the effect his music has had on my life is still enormous. I have been a fan since 1983 when I first saw the video for “Original Sin” I live in a small town in Nova Scotia Canada(not far from where JD Fortune was raised)so it was hard to obtain information and keep up with the career of INXS over the years, beyond music videos. Then with the release of “Elegantly Wasted” press coverage (in Canada) picked up again. The day press reported that Michael Hutchence had died the shock was surely felt world wide. Not having the internet until a few months ago,I didn't know much about his personal life and I am in no position to comment on his relationship with Paula. As for the Rockstar INXS reality show I thought well maybe I'll watch, because they will surely mention or even show clips of Michael (unfortunately not) I do not begrudge the band moving on with their lives and careers, and Switch is a great cd (after all I am Canadian JD)But more importantly it has renewed interest in Michael's legacy, brought new fans to hear his music and a movie about his life is now in the works.Michael's daughter Tigerlily, she looks so much like him. My eyes fill with tears when I think of all she has lost, God give her the strength she will need in this cruel world. I don't think Michael knew how he touched people worldwide and how much his talent would be missed. I miss his soulful voice, touching heartfelt lyrics and graceful movements. I will always love and respect your legacy Michael.God bless you, I guess we all forgot you were “Just A Man” after all. R.I.P.
