I have loved Michael Hutchence and the music of INXS since 1983.
I was a student at Illinois State University, in Normal, Illinois when I saw INXS for the first time in 1988 at the Student Center Auditorium. (we could not get enough of the album, Kick!)
I was hooked and fell in love.
It meant so much to me, and the students at Illinois State University that such a popular and talented band would play at our small auditorium.
INXS had a way of connecting with their audience. Michael's charisma and pure talent brought you into the music, and made us feel like we were a part of it somehow.
I have yet to see another band that has made me feel that same way.
He forever touched my heart and life with his music and the music of INXS. He will always be missed.
