Sweet Michael, for the last month since I purchased the new INXS CD I have done nothing but cry. I remember hearing of your passing when my 11 year old daughter came rushing in my room after I had retired to bed and was asleep, she woke me and said “Mom, Michael Hutchence” is dead. What an impact you and the band, Andrew, Gary, Tim, Jon and Kirk have made on my life, so much that my 11 year old daughter knew you by name. I hear the “God's Top Ten” song off the Switch album and I can never listen to the song without breaking down in tears. It is such a strange thing that has come over me and I wish I could explain it. All I know is how sad I am that you are no longer here. I am sorry you did not have someone that morning to say, “hey Michael, it is going to be okay.” I wish for you the sweetest slumber in peace and pray to God to bless you and watch over your sweet little girl. I hope this sadness that has enveloped me fades, as I just can't explain it. Somehow we must be kindred spirits my friend. Happy Birthday, and may I see your beautiful smile someday. Much Love...Carla
