A friend of mine invited me to see INXS at the Beacon Theater in NYC on Sept. 16, 1997. (approx. 2 months before Michael's death) I was a big fan of INXS growing up and had all of their albums, and had seen them before, so of course I would jump at the chance to see them again. It was such a great show. I was amazed by the energy of the band and how they affected the audience throughout the entire show. Everyone at the Beacon was dancing. Toward the end of the show, the stage was rushed by fans, mostly woman. I really had a great time that night and will never forget it. I feel very lucky to have been at that show, one of his last. He brought me a lot of happiness growing up. I was extremely saddened upon hearing about his death. I watched the VH-1 special tonite and it brought up a lot of emotions for me. He was beautiful and touched so many lives. It's just so sad that he's gone now.
