Please note:
Faced with the challenge of inappropriate messages being posted in the past, we have resorted to pre-approving all guestbook entries before they appear in Michael's Guestbook. We also ask you to enter your email address. It won't be displayed on the site but will help us to keep the guestbook organised as well as allowing us to reply to as many as possible with a word of gratitude. Thanks for understanding.

I grew up listening to INXS during my school years through the 80s.
And then the chance meeting me and a friend of mine had with the band members in Flinders Lane in Melbourne back in 1994 really confirned how nice and down to earth the band members of INXS are. Well, it was my mate who spotted the white Toyota Tarago van, while I was too busy looking at a new VR Holden Commodore which had been recently released. (Yes, I am a Holden person!) It was my friend who said, “Hey, isn't that Micheal Hutchence from INXS” And sure enough, it was! I was talking more to Kirk Pengilly who was sitting in the front passenger seat while Micheal and the rest of the band members were in the back of the Tarago. I'm not sure but I think my friend got their autographs. The only downfall of the metting was when their manager came along and told us to “eff” off. Continuing our way down Flinders Lane, I kept pinching myself to make sure that I wasn't dreaming. As INXS are a famous band, you'd expect a lot of security trying to ward off all the crazed fans. But it was just coincidental we were in thr same lane at the same time and it shows what a really nice bunch of blokes they are. It was a shame what happened to Micheal, he was a really nice bloke. No one can ever replace Micheal. R.I.P. Micheal
