I wanted to take this time to thank you all for this beautiful, perfect website.
I have been an admirer of Michael and INXS since the Shaboo Shabah album, and the music has been a part of my life since. I was on my way to a VERY joyus family occasion when I heard the news of his death. I felt silly/strange for being upset, why should I be grieving for someone I never knew, never even met? Im sure that those of you who knew Michael could answer that easily. Through the music I suppose I felt that I did know him, that I was being spoken to, entertained, and made to groove.
I heard recently that a new album was coming out and I was thrilled!!! Then the sharp memory that he is no longer with us came to the forefront. While looking for information on the new album I stumbled across this website. Through this website I have finally been allowed to grieve, to express the feeling of loss that I have kept bottled up since the day he died.
I no longer feel strange in grieving for someone I never knew. It feels GOOD to remember, to celebrate his incredible talent, and to re-kindle my love for the music.
I know that you must miss Michael very much, and that building this site must not have been an easy thing to do. Words cannot express my gratitude to you all for sharing you experience.
thank you.
Sincere love sent,
