I met Michael in 1993 and he was the sweetest person. I was obviously more excited to meet him than he was to meet me, but he was gracious even though he was only there to see a concert and not performing. He was a fantastic performer and I will miss him terribly. I am so sorry that he was so depressed and I've been there, too. I wish he'd been happier and could have stayed with us longer. That may sound selfish, but I know that I'm not the only one who will miss him and I offer my best wishes to his friends and family. Their loss is greater than mine.
