I have posted here before and I feel compelled to again. It was my birthday last week and my beautiful children bought me Live Baby Live on DVD because they knew that I was there (when they were babies) and that I still sorely miss Michael and have never really accepted his parting as being real. They also made me a scrap book of pictures they had found on the internet of Michael. Just lately I have been having a hard time with life and they figured that my love for Michael just needed a nudge and would get me through as it has so much in the past.
I just want to say that, even though it is almost 8 years since we lost such a beautiful soul, the older I get the keener I feel the pain - it has not abaited and is still as raw as it was on that cold November morning in 1997. I know I will always have a special place in my heart for Michael - right next to the ache I feel for his family. His legacy lives on and I thank his parents for letting him chase his dream and for giving us the most beautiful, sexy man I have ever seen. He is forever in my thoughts (much to my husband's dismay!!)
