I sat 3 rows from the stage at the last U.S. tour by INXS in Dallas, sometime in the summer of 1997. It was the first time I've seen INXS in concert while on a busy business trip. It was a long awaited encounter after having been a big fan of INXS music since 1980 in high school and bought all their albums till the passing of Michael. I just had to be there. The concert was all the excitement I had expected and more. Michael was awesome. Beyond the shock and disbelief of the tragic news on November 22, 1997, I look back to that night in Dallas & thank heavens that I was fortunate to have seen Michael performed live that night in Dallas and to have experienced his music in my life.
Michael was the leader of a great band. None though can match the style, sexuality, excitement, attraction, and talent of Michael. I can't help but think that it will be very difficult to ever replace Michael.
His voice, his style, his music, his memory will forever live!
Thanks for the great fun in your songs enjoyed over and over again....
Aloha Brother!
